Welcome to Dance X-pressions, where you will find a unique dance experience.  Under the direction of Talara K. Ruth, Dance X-pressions is dedicated to the development of the talent and character of individuals of every age and ethnicity, through the medium of dance education and performance. We strive to preserve the art of dance by challenging our dancers to meet the highest possible standards of accomplishments while encouraging creativity and fun while learning and growing.   

Classes offered for all ages and skill levels are ballet, pointe, partnering, modern, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip hop, creative, and musical theatre.  Our creative classes are combination classes for our youngest students.

Dance X-pressions also has annual opportunities through our  X-Team dancers who participate in competition and special performances.  X-Teams are selected annually by audition or invitation.

Dance X-pressions is also the home of Contemporary Ballet Theatre ).  Please see the Performance page for upcoming auditions and performances from these truly inspiring dance companies.

Our Mission           

Our mission is to provide Southern Orange County with a world class company and school for dance and the performing arts.  By combining solid technical training with a caring and supportive environment we strive to create a program that allows for maximum individual growth.  The professional credits of our teachers and graduates; from Broadway, to film, to the classical stage in New York, allow us to uniquely understand the realities of the professional world; while our hearts never forget the importance of each individual's self expression.
